Electrosmog in the workplace

Electromagnetic smog in the workplace is a form of hidden pollution, as it isn’t clearly perceived by exposed people, who therefore may find themselves exposed to high levels of radiation without realizing it. Computers, monitors, transformers, external units, UPSs (uninterruptible power supplies), wireless systems: everything contributes to increasing the level of electromagnetic pollution present in offices, where technology is fundamental.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE MEANING OF “ELETTROSMOG”

Electrosmog or electromagnetic pollution is the result of the active presence of electrical equipment or cables with live electricity that emit electric, magnetic and electromagnetic waves.

Electromagnetic fields are generated by any appliance or electrical conductor: from the cables of the electrical system to power lines; from cordless to mobile; from microwave to computer; from transformer rooms to telecommunications antennas.

ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS IN THE WORKPLACE

The polluting sources that produce electromagnetic fields are divided into two main categories:

  • low frequency sources (<10kHz) which include all industrial frequency electricity transmission systems and all electrically operated equipment;
  • high frequency sources (10kHz-3GHz) which include radio, television and cellular repeaters.

In the workplace, many activities can involve exposure to electromagnetic fields at higher levels than those found in other living environments. Among the main sources of electromagnetic pollution (electrosmog) we can distinguish:

  • static electric and magnetic fields (equipment powered by direct voltage, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance);
  • ELF electric and magnetic fields (radiation at extremely low frequencies, e.g. 50 Hz for the transport and use of electricity);
  • industrial radio frequency and microwave heaters (wood, textile, electronics industry);
  • biomedical equipment (magnetotherapy, radar therapy, electrosurgery, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance tomography …);
    telecommunication equipment;
  • office devices such as fax machines, modems, printers, PCs, monitors, uninterruptible power supplies, Wi-Fi networks;
  • lighting with fluorescent lamps with electronic regulation;
  • magnetic gates and shoplifting systems;
  • radio frequency identification systems (labels, transponders).

BIOLOGICAL EFFECTS OF THE ELECTROSMOG IN THE WORKPLACE

The communication between the individual cells of the brain, nervous system, muscles and organs is based not only on bio-chemical messages but also on small electromagnetic impulses, which contribute to controlling and regulating various endogenous processes of the body. If these “bio-impulses” are constantly disturbed from the outside (electrosmog and artificial electromagnetic fields), the “electrical mechanisms of our body” are sent out of synchronization. Biologically the control circuits of our organism are very sensitive and subject to increasing interference.

The constant presence in modern workstations of technological equipment leads us to be exposed to harmful electromagnetic fields, emitted during their operation. It represents the direct consequence of being surrounded daily by computers, faxes, Wi-Fi, telephones, copiers, printers; as if this were not enough, it is also necessary to be constantly available through the use of telecommunication devices such as mobile phones, smartphones, tablets and the like.

Permanent electrosmog radiation can originate from ionizing radiation but also from variable non-ionizing radiation. In both cases, they can cause various ailments such as:

  • fatigue
  • headache
  • tensions
  • reduced productivity
  • prostration
  • loss of creativity and concentration
  • muscle fatigue
  • circulatory disorders such as hypertension
  • arrhythmia

The use of ORBIS783 reintegrates into the workplace a correct level of Schumann Natural Resonance which is lacking in these cases, and protects us from the negative biological effects caused by environmental electrosmog. The functions of ORBIS783 create benefits for the autonomic nervous system, improving concentration, maintaining attention, obtaining energy, well-being and vitality.

Psycho-Physical Wellness, Brain Waves and Schumann Resonances

Brain Waves and Schumann Resonances

All our thoughts, emotions and behaviors are rooted in the communication between neurons in our brain called brain waves. Brain waves are produced by synchronized electrical impulses from masses of neurons that communicate with each other. The brain is a powerful generator of extremely low frequency (ELF) signals that are transmitted around our bodies through the nervous system, the same for every living organism on the planet.
These communications take place at different frequencies; they are measured in hertz. Hertz (Hz) is measured as cycles per second, so 1 cycle per second = 1Hz, 4 cycles per second = 4Hz etc; each brain wave has a purpose and helps us ensure optimal mental functioning. The image below gives you an idea of the enormous connections made between the billions of neurons in a human brain.

Amplitude shows the power of electrical impulses generated by the brain. The volume or intensity of brain wave activity is measured in microvolts. The raw EEG frequency bands include Delta brain waves between 0.1Hz and 4Hz, Theta brain waves between 4Hz and 7Hz, Alpha brain waves between 7Hz and 12Hz, Beta brain waves between 13Hz and 30Hz and brain waves range between 30Hz and 100Hz. Their ranges overlap along the frequency spectrum of 0.5 Hz or more.These frequencies are linked to behavior, subjective feeling states, physiological correlates, etc. The clinical improvement with the EEG biofeedback is attributable to the improvement of the neuroregulation of the basic functions by appealing to their underlying rhythmic mechanisms. Schumann resonance forms a natural feedback loop with the human mind/body. Our brains and bodies have developed in the biosphere.

There are 5 different types of human brain waves, starting from the lowest Delta from 0.1Hz to 4Hz, Theta from 4Hz to 7Hz, Alpha from 7Hz to 12Hz, Beta from 13Hz to 30Hz and Gamma from 30Hz to 100Hz (normally about 40Hz). Each brain wave occurs at different times within the brain.

Let’s take a closer look at each of the brain waves and how they compare to the frequencies of Schumann’s resonances. We can see how the brain is aligned with these resonances; further evidence of the positive effect they have on our daily lives and on all other living organisms on Earth.

Delta Brain Waves between 0.1 Hz and 4 Hz (0-4 cycles per second)

DELTA waves range from 0 to 4 Hz. Delta is the lowest of the 5 brain wave frequencies that are delta at less than 4Hz associated with deep sleep. It is the dominant rhythm in children up to one year of age and is present in sleep stages 3 and 4 yrs. It tends to be the highest in amplitude and the slowest waves. We increase delta waves to decrease awareness of the physical world. In deeper meditation and dreamless sleep, delta waves are generated. Each of these brainwave frequencies performs an important function.

In addition, some frequencies in the delta range trigger the release of growth hormone beneficial for healing and regeneration. This is why deep restful sleep is so essential for the healing process. It is possible to access information in our unconscious mind through Delta waves.

Too many delta waves: excessive delta wave production is associated with coma, neurodevelopmental disorders and severe brain injury. In some cases, people with extreme ADHD cases may have higher delta wave levels than normal while they are awake.

Delta waves too small: people with sleep disturbances may not be able to reach right levels of delta waves at night, these people will not enter the deepest and most restorative stages of sleep with the same frequency as others. This causes anxiety, fatigue, tiredness and in the medium/long term even illness.

Theta Brain Waves between 4Hz and 7Hz (4-7 cycles per second)

THETA waves are involved in daydreaming and sleep. Theta waves are connected with the experience and sensation of deep and raw emotions. Too much theta activity can make people prone to attacks of depression and can make them “highly suggestible” based on the fact that they are in a semi-relaxed and semi-hypnotic state.

These states occur most often in sleep, but are also dominant in the deeper state of mediation. The optimal level for deep thought is Theta. In Theta, our senses are withdrawn from the outside world and focused on signals that originate internally; we are in a daydream, real images flash before the mind’s eye and we are receptive to information beyond our normal conscious awareness. Theta has its advantages in helping to improve our intuition, creativity and makes us feel more natural. It is also involved in restorative sleep.

Too many Theta waves: the exagerrate production of Theta is linked to lower levels of anxiety, stress and neurosis. Increasing the total amount of the theta waves can help slow down rapid thoughts and make a person feel more relaxed.

Too small Theta waves: People with too little Theta waves production can suffer from anxiety, personality disorders or stress.

Alpha Brain Waves between 7Hz and 12Hz (7-12 cycles per second)

ALPHA waves are prevalent during moments of silent thought and similar meditative states. Alpha is considered the “power of now”, being here and in the present moment. As more and more neurons are forced to this frequency, alpha waves move globally across the cortex. This leads to deep relaxation, but not to meditation. Alpha is also the frequency known as Schumann resonance, which is the resonant frequency (7.83 Hz) of the Earth’s electromagnetic field.

Schumann’s resonance waves propagate in the ionosphere around the Earth. When we are out of nature, our natural alpha waves resonate (igniting) with the frequency of that earth, naturally we feel better, refreshed. We are tuned or resonant with the terrestrial frequency of 7.83Hz. It’s the state of rest for the brain, not unlike a car idling at the traffic lights. Alpha waves help overall mental coordination, calm and alertness, mind / body integration and learning. Alpha appears to be closely involved in reticular activation and participates in mechanisms for binding and allocating resources regarding orientation and sequences of activity in the brain.

Too many alpha waves: increasing alpha waves automatically reduces fears, tension, stress, nerves and anxiety. Alpha waves stimulate creativity and minimize depression. Alpha waves increase the release of the neurotransmitter called “serotonin” which acts as a natural antidepressant.

Alpha waves too small: the reduction of alpha waves often indicates that you feel anxious, depressed and inhibit your creativity levels.

Beta Brain Waves between 13HZ and 30Hz (13-30 cycles per second)

BETA waves are commonly observed while we are awake. They are involved in conscious thinking, logical thinking and tend to have an active and stimulating effect, they allow us to easily focus and complete work-based activities, which are very fast brain waves that most people express during the day to complete conscious activities such as: critical thinking, writing, reading and socializing.

Too many beta waves: increased beta brain wave activity can cause stress, anxiety and fear. It can also cause an increase in blood pressure.

Beta waves too small: the reduction of beta brain waves can lead to poor cognition, ADHD, daydreams or depression.

Gamma Brain Waves between 30Hz and 100Hz (30-100 cycles per second)

They are involved in higher processing tasks and cognitive functioning. GAMMA waves are important for learning, processing memory and information. The 40 Hz gamma wave is believed to be important for the binding of our senses as far as perception is concerned and they are involved in learning new material. People tested with learning difficulties or brain damage tend to have below average gamma activity.

Too many gamma waves: the increase in gamma brain waves modulates perception and consciousness and that a greater presence of gamma refers to expanded consciousness or spiritual awareness.

Gamma waves too small: low amounts of gamma brain wave activity are related to learning difficulties, poor memory and impaired mental processing.

Orbis783 Conclusions

The connection between humans and Schumann resonances can be best explained using the analogy of 2 systems with corresponding frequencies when one of them starts to vibrate; the other will vibrate at the same time. Human brain waves and Schumann resonance frequencies are in the same range. This creates “drag” or “power on”. The word kindling refers to the matching of neurons through the brain creating synchronicity. Schumann resonance is a tuning fork for life, it acts as a background frequency that influences the biological circuits of the mammalian brain.

Life on Earth exists only because the Earth’s electromagnetic field protects all living things on it, and it is a natural frequency of 7.83Hz (terrestrial heart beat). Schumann resonance is the true impulse of the Earth at 7.83 Hz, this natural harmonic frequency of the Earth is the resonance frequency of the planet and corresponds to that of human consciousness at the optimal low levels of alpha and the upper range of theta brain waves. The human nervous system can be affected by the Earth’s electromagnetic field. This is why being in the open air immersed in nature has always had a salutary effect and has helped healing.
The continuous and increasingly predominant presence of Artificial Electromagnetic Fields and Electrosmog in the daily life of each of us creates interference and imbalances even in brain waves, first creating initial biological imbalances that over time can become real pathologies.

The Orbis783 devices have been designed and manufactured with the aim of harmonizing these natural waves by retuning the brain waves through the generation of Schumann Resonances. Choose Orbis 783 to supply the organism with those harmonic Biorhythms that Artificial Electromagnetic Fields are disturbing and very often deleting.

METHODS AND PRODUCTS OF SHIELDING AND PROTECTION AGAINST ARTIFICIAL ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS: EXAMINATION ON THE PRESENCE OF PEER-REVIEWED PUBLICATIONS IN SCIENTIFIC LITERATURE

Regarding to the now established presence of biological effects on the human body caused by exposure to various types of Artificial Electromagnetic Fields, commonly defined as Electrosmog, we want to analyze, in summary, the results of an official research published on “PubMed.gov”, platform having scientific authority confirmed by peer-reviewed verification.
The study in question is as follows: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30831365/

The pdf containing the complete work can be downloaded trough the following link: Download pdf.

This research published in 2019 was carried out by two researchers from the Choremeion Research Laboratory, Medical School, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, Dimitris J. Panagopoulos and George P. Chrousos who have long been engaged in scientific research in relation the biological interactions between Artificial Electromagnetic Fields and the human organism.
At the end of the text you will find references to them further research on this published in the scientific literature.

SOME CONCLUSIONS OF THE RESEARCH

  • Among the various shielding systems from Artificial EMFs, the most common and used is the use of shielded systems (metal mesh structures, paints, structured curtains etc.) able to blocking the external / internal propagation of the same EMFs. It has been shown that this technique, if on the one hand it is able to decrease the level of real exposure to the EMF of people who are inside the shielded environment, on the other hand it eliminates a considerable part of the Natural EMF (Schumann Resonances), indispensable for a correct chronobiological synchronization of the organism, without which important debilitating biological effects can occur initially with the subsequent possible development of real pathologies.
    In addition to the adoption of specific techniques and precautions for installation and use of these shielding devices, the regeneration within the shielded environments of the Schumann Resonances which are no longer available is strongly recommended.
  • The remaining types of systems and techniques able to protecting, reducing or canceling the biological effects of Artificial EMFs such as Chips to be applied on the phone, use of Shungite capable of absorbing or rebalancing Artificial Electromagnetic Waves and the like, are strongly discouraged because species in the cases of people with Electrosensitivity (EHS) they would increase the local concentration of EMF, bringing an aggravation rather than an improvement.
  • It’s underlined that none of the devices commercially proposed with this function has available or is able to provide official scientific documentation such as to support the declarations available and made available to the public in the sales sites of the devices themselves. These are declarations of generic value that do not refer to any study or test published in Scientific Literature which has been examined by accredited bodies for obtaining peer-reviewed compliance and therefore having official scientific value.

Regarding to this published study, a comment released by EMF SA, an important and authoritative community dedicated to the research and dissemination of information and studies concerning the interaction between Artificial EMF, the environment and the human organism, is reported, where in addition to emphasizing the quality of research and sharing of final result comments, however, an important part is missing which in the study is mentioned as fundamental but not in-depth, reffering to the problems and possible solutions related to the presence / absence of Natural EMFs (Schumann resonances) indispensable basis for ChronoBiology which studies precisely what are called “Biological Rhythms”.
Link to the publication
Natural EMFs have a fundamental importance for the balances of synchronization and correct functioning of the processes of the human body and on their biological indispensability there is an important documentation in scientific literature of which some examples are reported at the end of the document.
Natural EMFs are not reduced or canceled only by the presence of shields able to stopping their environmental propagation, but they are also increasingly “Submerged” by the ubiquitous presence of strong and interfering Artificial EMFs and by Electrosmog.

ORBIS783 PROJECT

The ORBIS783 project was born with the specific purpose of recreating in the most “natural” way possible, in the optimal conditions not subject to electrosmog or architectural and urban impediments, electromagnetic signals present in Schumann Resonances and also of other Bioharmonic EMFs such as waves Delta, Theta, Alpha and Beta which fall into the brainwave range.
ORBIS783 devices generate pure electromagnetic signals that do not contain harmonics able to negatively interfere in the biological action of the natural EMFs themselves, in a stable, safe and continuous over time without frequency or level changes. Only the primary frequency of Schumann Resonance equal to 7.83 Hz is generated together with the first 2 natural harmonics equal to 14.1 and 20.3 Hz having significant bioenergetic value.

We propose below the results of the instrumental verification of the signals generated by ORBIS783 Home, Sine Wave & FFT measurement (click on the images to zoom).

Orbis783 in the high fidelity of sound

The electromagnetic fields connected to Schumann Resonance Frequencies have proven to be able to make considerable improvements to the musical and visual sensory capacities. All thanks to the positive biological interaction, able to accentuate and sharpen in the listener the states of concentration, attention and perceptive ability.

You will hear your Hi-Fi system playing like you’ve never listened to it, discovering details that you never thought it could have.

Without the need for any physical connection with the devices, but only by placing ORBIS783 in your listening environment will you be able to enjoy a greater dynamic range and an increase in spatiality and depth of the musical front reproduced by your speakers.

Under normal listening conditions, the environment is saturated with Artificial Electromagnetic Fields produced by the equipment in use and those coming from outside, which disturb the listener’s sensory capacities. All this adds up, altering the acoustic and electromagnetic signals generated by the system and reducing the global perception capacity of the listener, who will no longer be able to distinguish nuances and important details in the context of high fidelity listening.

ORBIS 783 does not interact directly with the Environmental Electromagnetic Fields, but deletes or considerably attenuates the biological effects induced, placing the listener in a listening condition as if he were in a pure and natural environment.

Operation is extremely simple, as it’s sufficient to place ORBIS 783 in the listening room, at a height of 1.5m from the floor and turn it on at least fifteen minutes before starting the music playback.

The particular type of antenna used and the level of intensity at which it is calibrated allow ORBIS 783 to distribute the Electromagnetic Field of Schumann Resonance in a homogeneous and efficient way in the listening room.

Here are some comments from Schumann Resonance Generator Users in the Audiophile field:

  • A Remarkable Improvement
    I’m an audiophile always looking for optimizations for my sound system. This device is not a joke! I had read a lot about Schumann’s resonators and was looking forward to trying one. I immediately liked this model for its design and quality of construction, and when it was installed for the first time there was a very obvious change to my system. The stage has widened with greater depth, the tone was fuller and the nuances have been better defined. I experimented several times with a friend by turning it on and off without giving him notice, and each time he was able to distinguish the effect. I also purchased a second unit and the sound has improved further. It is worth using it and it will improve your sound system!
  • Schumann Resonator
    I am an audiophile and have read a lot about these devices. I often trust the people who share my passion, and I must say that they were right. This tool really adds a lot to my musical enjoyment. Especially in the Soundstage. In addition, it can improve the sound of CDs if you place them on the circuit. Who would have thought that!
  • An accessory that makes the difference
    Excellent quality and a great price. These things work “for real” as a function of what they provide to an audio / video system. Better sound, better image and an immersive sensation that can greatly improve the experience. Highly recommended!
  • Optimization of sound sphere
    I felt the effect of the Resonator at a friend’s house, and after checking the effects, I decided to buy one too. When he asked me what I had heard, I confirmed to him that I could see the same improvements perceived in his system. A greater sense of space and greater clarity in music. Considering that I already have a large sound stage, the stage has widened with greater clarity in lateral imaging and depth. The recorded atmosphere totally envelops my listening room with a huge amount of details. I have yet to try to insert a couple of them as I was advised since it is said it would further improve what is heard and I intend to do it as soon as I can. The product may not be suitable for everyone, I have only verified the positive results on good and medium-high-end Hi-Fi systems, but we have heard very few improvements in medium-quality Hi-Fi systems, where the ability to improve the The sound image was minimal and well below what was happening in my system. Since I use it I can no longer do without it!

Orbis WiFi Eco: the defense against WiFi radiation

Pros and Cons of WiFi technology

Thanks to the ease of connection to the Internet and the convenience of having no cables to connect with consequent bulk and mobility restrictions, Wi-Fi technology has become a must-have in our homes and workplaces.

This revolutionary technology, commercially available since 1999, eliminates cabling for computers, reduces the cost of using cell phones and allows you to connect to the Internet from any location within the signal coverage area. Despite these benefits, studies continue to show that the radiation generated by the wireless router is negatively affecting our health.

There are dozens of studies in the scientific literature, published after peer reviews that demonstrate the negative biological effects of exposure to Wi-Fi, including headaches, sperm reduction and significant increases in oxidative stress. In addition, brain damage, cancer, malformations, spontaneous abortions, alterations in bone growth were highlighted in rats.

WiFi in everyday life

Nowadays almost all of us, whether for work or leisure, can no longer do without using WiFi; it is important to know that turning it off during the night is a precaution to be taken, because it is during the night phase that our body relaxes and becomes more vulnerable to Radio Frequencies.

In this phase of rest, based on the Circadian rhythms that regulate the day/night rhythms in the human body, seasonal phases etc. the maximum biochemical activity of the pineal gland (epiphysis), is activated with the production of hormones such as melatonin and other elements, that are indispensable for correct psychophysical homeostasis.

If no type of Internet navigation or active use of the WiFi network is in place, the modem still emits pulses of radio signals called “Beacons” in very rapid succession, this 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, in practice there is always a constant radiation.

It’s scientifically proven that this continuous emission of pulsed digital signals, even if of low intensity, has an effective biological impact able of causing, in the short term, disturbing conditions of various kinds which then in the medium/long term can evolve into real pathologies.

Specifically, the age group between infancy and adolescence records a greater negative biological effect due to various factors including bone structural conformation, greater presence of body fluids etc. The tissues of young people are more sensitive and prolonged exposure can cause even serious disorders; this dynamic is even more pronounced for a pregnant fetus.

Any solutions? Orbis783 WiFi Eco

Orbis783 WiFi Eco is a technological solution developed by us, able of drastically reducing the density of the WiFi signal emission emitted by the FRITZ Box 4040 Access Point. The result is a reduction of 90% of the radiation emitted during Stand By and 15% during navigation, the emission of Beacon signals goes from 10 every second to 1 every 3 seconds, both in stand by and during navigation.

Electrosmog in the homeplace

Electrosmog is present in our modern and increasingly “technological” homes in a constant and widespread manner. A clear definition of electrosmog is given by the presence of artificial electric and electromagnetic fields in the environment in which we live.

The high frequency radiation fields created by cellular and cordless phones, cell phone towers, Wi-Fi and microwaves are the most harmful. But even low frequency electrosmog can be harmful when we are exposed to it consistently and continuously

The main “home” sources of potential electromagnetic pollution are:

  • Electrical conductors, even if they are recessed (in the wall) or contained in the appropriate panels
  • Appliances (washing machine, washer dryer, dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, freezer, toaster, etc.)
  • Microwave ovens
  • Televisions (of any type: the “worst” are the old models with cathode ray tubes)
  • Energy saving lamps
  • Electronic ballasts (e.g. halogen spotlights)
  • Fans
  • Conditioners
  • Battery charger
  • Cell Phones and Smartphones
  • Cordless phones
  • Wireless networks
  • Clock radios
  • Personal computers and accessories (printers, etc.)
  • Induction stove
  • Hairdryer
  • Electric shavers
  • Electric toothbrushes
  • Hair straighteners
  • Water heater boiler

It is then possible to distinguish different types of electromagnetic pollution:

Low frequency alternating electric fields: for example domestic electrical installations and household appliances. The fields are present even when the electrical equipment is not in use.

Low frequency alternating magnetic fields: they occur when the various appliances and devices are put into operation.

Electromagnetic waves (radio frequency): this type includes all types of transmitters such as cell phones, Wi-Fi etc.

Does electromagnetic pollution affect the human body?

That electrosmog causes damage to health is a topic now established by extensive scientific literature that has divided the interaction between it and the human body into two main categories: Ionizing Radiation (specifically those that are created in the presence of a strong electromagnetic field as when using the mobile phone resting on the head) and non-ionizing radiation, of lesser intensity and level but characterized by a continuous and constant environmental presence

The fact is certain: electromagnetic waves cause stress to our body. Another fact is that each human being reacts differently to the electromagnetic stresses present in the environment. This depends on the intensity and duration of the frequencies of the electromagnetic fields as well as on the type itself (pulsed, with phase and polarity variation etc.) as well as on individual responses.

In fact, we must take into account age (children and adolescents are subject to much greater risk), the pre-existing general state of health, the immune system and the ability of each of us to compensate for magnetic loads and our resistance to external influences. If our body is exposed to electromagnetic pollution for long periods, (which today cannot be avoided), we can suffer from a chronic state of stress that can lead to autonomic nervous system disorders causing the following symptoms:

  • headache
  • digestive problems
  • sleep disorders
  • circulatory disorders (hypertension)
  • arrhythmia

In addition, stress affects the immune system making it more susceptible to disease. Hormonal balance can be influenced by electromagnetic pollution and negatively affect the psyche, even leading to depression.

Particular attention must be paid to the placement of household appliances and electronic devices in children’s rooms or in environments where they spend most of their time, these are often the cause of disturbances on the duration and quality of sleep and on their ability to pay attention and concentration. with reduction also of mnemonic and learning abilities. In addition, situations of accentuation of nervous states of anxiety and restlessness have often been highlighted

Why does the body react to electromagnetic pollution?

The human body is electromagnetic and for this reason it also responds to electrosmog. The communication of our organism takes place through chemical messages and electrical signals. These signals are influenced by external electromagnetic radiation (electrosmog), which can cause damage to health. Electrosmog can therefore be seen as an “attack on the functions of life” as it is able to significantly influence vital functions. The cells of our body perceive the presence of electromagnetic fields in a few seconds and recognize them as an “attack”.

For this reason a protective mechanism is triggered which closes all the channels that enter and leave the cells. In a relaxed state the cell membrane is permeable – the cell membrane has two energetic states, a parasympathetic (relaxed) state and a sympathetic (excited) state. In the relaxed state, nutrients can enter the cells; in the excited state, the cell membrane is closed and it is therefore not possible to feed nutrients and energy. Normally, a cell always goes through these two states. When a cell is constantly exposed to electromagnetic radiation, its membrane remains constantly in the sympathetic or closed state and therefore cannot absorb nutrients, nor expel pollutants, therefore the brain or skin cells permanently exposed to electromagnetic fields, will have a poor nutrient content.

Another of the significant ways in which electromagnetic fields affect our bodies is by altering the production of hormones essential for our immune system function, circadian rhythms and general health. Studies have shown that electrosmog in bedrooms causes a decrease in melatonin, one of these essential hormones. In some cases the data show a decrease of more than 50% of normal melatonin levels (Bioinitiative report 2012).

Nighttime melatonin production can be reduced to 40% of normal levels by electrosmog, making deep sleep impossible.

Melatonin, which the pineal gland produces only at night, is responsible for complete relaxation and sleep, strengthens the immune system and protects us from the harmful effects of free radical cells. In order for us to get deep sleep, our brain frequency must be 4-8 Hz (Schumann’s frequency as harmonic rhythm is 7.83 Hz), however electromagnetic frequencies constantly interfere with it.

Research has also shown that consistently low melatonin levels increase the likelihood of cancer and can cause the development of existing cancers at a greater rate. As Wilson and Anderson write in “ELF Electromagnetic Field Effects on the pineal gland”

Pineal function could be linked to the etiology of cancer in at least three basic ways:

First of all, melatonin itself is oncostatic and appears to be a humoral factor that inhibits the proliferation of some cancer cells.

Secondly, melatonin improves certain facets of the immune response, once again helping to protect against tumor development.

Third, melatonin works as an inhibitor of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis. As such, it can reduce the availability of hormones that are necessary for the growth of some hormone-dependent breast, ovarian, and prostate cancers. “(Wilson and Anderson, 1990, 167-168)

5G: new communication system and implications for human health

To illustrate this interesting topic, we refer to an authoritative study presented by Dr. Agostino Ciaula, medical doctor, researcher and president of the national and international scientific committee of the International Society of Doctors for Environment (ISDE).
Dr. Ciaula stands out for being an authoritative figure, very engaged in scientific studies and research, which also concern the interaction between Artificial CEM and men.

In summary, the result of the study leads to the following considerations.

The spread of radio frequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMF) is on the rise and health effects are currently being actively investigated and researched. RF-EMF promote oxidative stress, a condition involved in the onset of cancer, various acute and chronic diseases, and vascular homeostasis. Although some evidence is still controversial, OMS IARC has classified RF-EMF as a “possible human carcinogen”, and more recent studies have suggested reproductive, metabolic and neurological effects of RF-EMF, which are also able to altering bacterial resistance to antibiotics. In this evolving scenario, although the biological effects of 5G communication systems are very poorly investigated, an international action plan for the development of 5G networks has been launched, with an imminent increase in devices and small cell density, and with the future use of millimeter waves (MMW).

Preliminary observations have shown that MMWs increase skin temperature, alter gene expression, promote cell proliferation and the synthesis of proteins linked to oxidative stress, inflammatory and metabolic processes, could generate ocular damage, influence neuro-muscular dynamics. Further studies are needed to better and independently explore the health effects of RF-EMF in general and of MMW in particular as these preliminary studies suggest non-negligible evidence. However, the available results seem sufficient to demonstrate the existence of biomedical effects, to invoke the precautionary principle, to define exposed subjects as potentially vulnerable and to review existing limitations. Appropriate knowledge of the pathophysiological mechanisms that link exposure to radiofrequency electromagnetic fields to health risk should also be useful in current clinical practice.

Considering these scientific evidences and the start of the implementation on the national territory of the 5G technology which, precisely due to its technical characteristics and geographical coverage, has as its task the achievement of signal coverage equal to 90% of the surface of the nation, thus leading to an almost ubiquitous presence of Artificial EMFs with a high biological impact. This situation makes it necessary to adopt solutions able to contrasting and protecting the environments where we live.

The Orbis783 devices are born with this specific function and the upcoming advent of 5G makes its use even more necessary, both to fight its negative biological effects, and to generate a condition of Wellness, essential for maintaining a correct psychophysical balance, altered by the ever more pervasive Artificial EMFs.
